Indian companies eye East Africa

A number of major Indian companies have expressed willingness to invest their huge capital in East African Community.

Sources in Uganda’s Ministry of Trade and Industry have informed our reporters that delegations have Indian business persons have toured East African countries and have already expressed willingness to put more capital in Uganda among other EAC states.

Trade Minister Amelia Kyambadde says that Uganda is now an investor final destination because of the good investment climate and good political atmosphere in the country.

 

Kyambadde says that although there are many Indian companies in Uganda, others are still willing to put their capital in Uganda. She says that Indians are willing to bring their advanced technology in agriculture and manufacturing to Uganda.
