US wants stronger efforts against corruption in Uganda

The US ambassador to Uganda has added voice to those calling for more stringent measures in handling corruption.

This comes at a time when more donors are suspending aid over the abuse of funds in the office of the prime minister.

Scot De-Lissi says the aid is intended to reach the targeted people to make a difference in their lives and such abuse should end

He however says that America will continue to support the country in establishing self-help projects.
