The disaster preparedness and Refugee stores have run out of food for relief food. This has been revealed by the Minister of disaster preparedness and Refugees, Engineer Hilary Onek, while appearing before the Human Rights committee of parliament chaired by woman MP for Mitoma district.

Onek said that for the last five months disaster preparedness stores have been empty. He said that there is no food in stores and have written to the Minister of Finance over the matter with no response. The minister also expressed concern over the poor quality of roads constructed   and wondered the kind of engineers the country have these days. He said that roads are washed away by rains because they are poorly constructed.
