FIFA World Rankings: Uganda retains, Algeria Africa’s best and Argentina tops

Uganda has remained 72nd in the men’s FIFA/Coca Cola world ranking positions released on June 2, 2016 Thursday morning.

Uganda tops countries that feature in the Council of East and Central African Football Associations(CECAFA) with 500(499.51) points amassed in the month of May 2016 and lie 16th in Africa.

Meanwhile, Algeria takes top honors in Africa and 32nd in the world.

Uganda’s opponents in Africa Cup of Nations group D; Botswana, Burkina Faso and Comoros are 84th, 73rd and 162nd respectively in FIFA men’s rankings.

Uganda will on June 4, 2016 battle with Botswana in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at 4pm(Botswana) and 5pm(Uganda).
