Fraudsters frustrating revenue collections-Internal Affairs Officials

The department of inspection and investigation in the Internal Affairs Ministry has expressed concerns wondering whether fraudsters work with employees in the ministry to affect activities that have seen revenue collection in the country dwindle.

Following the arrest of 8 suspects found with special pass stamps, visitors pass among other immigration facility documents, the head of the Inspection and investigation Simon Mundeyi says that their department will increase its crackdown on fraudulent activities that reduce the country’s revenue.

Mundeyi warns the public against dealing with fraudsters to acquire national documents as it intensifies its crack down on these identified individuals.

Meanwhile the spokesperson of the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control Jacob Siminyu says that the application for permits has been made easy and so investors should not have the excuse of difficulties to use middle men.
