Buganda caucus boss wants closer ties with Kingdom

The newly elected Buganda Parliamentary Caucus Chairman, Johnson Muyanja Ssenyonga, says his first main focus as he takes over office will be to organize his team for interaction that will forge unity with the members of Buganda Lukiiko as a way of getting to know challenges facing Buganda.
Ssenyonga who is also the MP for Mukono South says without unity among the leaders in Buganda, there is no conclusive matter that can be fully discussed and resolved hence a need to work together with the “Abebitiibwa” in the Buganda Lukiiko to see Buganda Kingdom move forward.
He is also to ensure that the caucuses utilise the services of minister from Buganda under central government structure to extend services the community in Buganda and improve their lives.

Ssenyonga says the issues of land wrangles still remain a big challenge to be handled in Buganda hence his leadership is to urgently seek for orientation from the Buganda Land Board on all issues surrounding land to equip them with information as they guide Buganda subjects.
