Arsenal demand £20m from West Ham for Jack Wilshere

Arsenal have set a £20 million asking price for Jack Wilshere, according to reports.

Several teams are keen on taking the England international with reports indicating West Ham as the latest club to register interest in signing the 25-year-old.

This comes after Sampdoria’s £7m offer with add-ons was rejected for player who has a year remaining on his current contract.

The Daily mail report claims that the Gunners are willing to let Wilshere leave the club this summer as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.

The 25-year-old had promising 2016/17 loan spell at Bournemouth but was cut short by a broken leg after suffering a hairline fracture.

And now the Daily star claims Arsenal have told West Ham they will have to pay £20m and agree a buy-back clause if they want to sign Jack Wilshere.

The England midfielder’s playing career has been marred by injuries which continue to limit him from realizing his full potential.

The report add that the Gunners have made no effort to hold talks with Wilshere about a new deal, and West Ham could provide him with the best option to rebuild his career in the build-up to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Wilshere has been capped 34 times by England, scoring two goals and will be a good addition if he joins West Ham.
