2010 Scholarship for Female Students in Nigeria

Calling all female students in Nigerian universities to apply for a one time scholarship award, in the amount of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50, 000) to one winner from each state.

Requirements are as follows: An applicant must be a Nigerian female student, in a Nigerian University. All applications must include the following:
Three page type-written essay.

Essay topic

“The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) turns 10 this year. It has empowered young women, youth and children through education and wellness initiatives by awarding scholarships, supporting orphanages and other charitable organizations both in Nigeria and the United States. If you were hired by NWAG as a consultant, prepare a plan of action for the organization for the next ten years for continued growth and service.”

  • State of origin.
  • A paragraph explaining why you NEED and should receive the scholarship.
  • Current photograph of Applicant
  • Photocopy of your University identity card. Letter of recommendation or letter attesting that you are a student, from your Dean, HOD or Dept. Secretary.
  • Letter of introduction from, your Local Govt., Church or Mosque.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS July 15, 2010

Applications may not be emailed. Incomplete applications and applications postmarked after July 15th will not be accepted.
