The woman MP for Arua, Christine Bako Abia has refuted media reports that she was involved in a fist fight with Arua district LC 5 chairman at a meeting convened to address wrangles between municipal law enforcement officers and illegal vendors.

Arua district council meeting last month ended abruptly after Christine Bako Abia allegedly fought with the LC5 chairman, Richard Andama Ferua.

However, Bako says that she was the victim of Andama’s beatings, adding that the chairman has continued spreading malicious reports against her in the local media.

The MP says she reported the LCV boss at Arua police station.
