Kayunga district Chairman Boniface Bandikubi has urged Bududa landslides survivors to accept to be relocated to Kayunga district without any conditions.

Bandikubi says the survivors should accept the 4- square miles of public land that was donated to them by the district.

He adds that the continued stay of the survivors in the Mt Elgon region which is still experiencing heavy rains is putting their lives at risk because another catastrophe could occur any time.

The March 1st land slides left over 90 people dead, thousands displaced and hundreds still missing.
