Youths in the country have been urged to actively get involved in the electoral process ahead of the general poll.

The call was made by a group of youths from eight different political parties under the Youth Stand up Campaign.

Speaking at a training workshop of over 200 youths in Kampala today, the chairperson of the group, Justice Mayambala Kisitu says they are targeting over 2500 youths throughout the country and have organized activities to sensitize youths on the need to register.

He argues that youth’s involvement in the whole process will enhance democracy.
