District, Sub County and security chiefs in Bududa have been told to arrest anyone who sells relief items meant for the survivors of Bududa landslides.

The directive has been given by the Resident District Commissioner of Amuru, Edwin Komakech who toured Bududa district today. “Anyone found selling relief items must be arrested on sight,” he stated.

Komakech says the government of Uganda is doing whatever is possible to resettle the people of Bududa.

He says there can be no development if the survivors of Bududa landslides are still living in camps.
