Suspended MPs return to house next week

Members of Parliament who were suspended from attending sessions in the House over gloss misconduct are expected back to Parliament later this week.

The MPs were suspended by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga on Tuesday last week.

The suspended MPs are Christine Bako (Arua Woman), Michael Ocula (Kilak), Geoffrey Ekanya (Tororo Municipality),  Odonga Otto (Arur) and Beatrice Anywar Kitgum woman).

According to Parliament’s Public Relations Officer, Jotham Taremwa, the MPs’ on suspension will be effected today and end on Wednesday.

Taremwa reveals that none of the MPs has tendered in their apologies to the Speaker’s office, an act which have avoided their suspension.
