Ugandans in diaspora reluctant to support IPC

The Treasurer General of DP USA chapter, JBM Ssentongo says most Ugandans in diaspora are still very reluctant to support the Inter Party Coalition (IPC) of four leading opposition parties. The four opposition parties are Forum for Democratic Change, Conservative Party, Justice Forum and Uganda Peoples’ Congress led by Ambassador Olara Otunnu.

Ssentongo says Ugandans in the diaspora are more prepared to work with properly organized entities with well streamlined action plans and just not piloted programmes of certain political parties that are determined to suffocate brand new political pressure groups like Jeema and Social Democratic Party.

Ssentongo says Social Democratic Party, Jeema and Conservative Party exist in names and on paper but not in any physical reality.

He says most Ugandans in the diaspora think that the inter party coalition will not provide tangible hope for a reliable and sustainable change after post President Museveni Uganda.

Ssentongo advises the members of inter party coalition to disband immediately in favour of independent political party building processes.

He says Forum for Democratic Change claims to be independent while in actual sense they are still interdependent to the very political system of National Resistance Movement they are claiming to fight.
