Seeking senior social or behavioral scientist/academic researcher to direct South Africa-based newly established R17.5 million research projects. The program will award grants to southern and eastern African (and Africa-based) researchers investigating behavior-based solutions to HIV/AIDS, addiction and alcoholism, gender-based violence, and other social and family problems. Director will be responsible for managing grantees and providing support in carrying out and publishing research.
Experience in qualitative and quantitative research, prior academic publishing, ability to travel, and significant management experience required. Will work in collaboration with New Paradigm Fund leadership www.newparadigmfund.org
