To qualify for a Ph D position the applicant must have at least a Master Degree with a Major in Chemistry. We are looking for a devoted, motivated, and hard-working candidate willing to work in a stimulating research field. Furthermore, the candidate should have a deep interest in synthetic organic chemistry.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: The Ph D student is expected to carry out advanced research in synthetic organic chemistry, including performing transition metal catalysis and advanced organic synthesis. The position will also include writing research reports and manuscripts for publication in international journals. Thus, the candidate must have very good knowledge in written and spoken English. The candidate will broaden his/her perspective and knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry, and transition metal catalysis by taking graduate courses in relevant subjects and to teach as well as participate in general departmental work such as instrument maintenance etc to a level corresponding to a maximum 20% of the employment time.
