All set for Makerere University 62nd graduation ceremony

Makerere University has announced that it is to hold the 62nd graduation ceremony next month from 16th– 20th.

Makerere University Academic registrar Alfred Masikye Namoah says so far 10,493 students’ transcripts have been printed.

Namoah says they are still making final statistics for the students who are going to graduate.

He says each day 200-250 students will be graduated.

He adds that transcripts for the school of law students, Bachelor of Arts in Economics and those in psychology are ready and respective students can pick them.

Meanwhile the acting vice chancellor Prof Venansius Baryamureeba says the delay to print the scripts was due to the strikes which rocked the university recently.

Prof Baryamureeba says the university chancellor Prof Mondo Kagonyera will preside over the ceremony.
