The family of the former president of Uganda , Milton Obote could have lost its strong say in Uganda Peoples Congress but its desire to have fun remains so live.
We have been told that the family members converged at their home in Kololo last evening to celebrate the 11th birthday of Puli Akena, the second born daughter of Jimmy Akena. Jimmy Akena is a son to Milton Obote and he is currently the MP for Lira Municipality . Our reporters who were also invited for the function report that the event started at around 3pm till late.
Akena served his guests with all tribes of beers and sodas plus some meat. There were no political speeches made. Akena says it would be improper to turn a birthday party into a political rally.
