Members of business sector to be rewarded tomorrow

The members of business sector in Uganda are to be rewarded on February 24th this year for the role they play in Uganda’s business growth.

The director of the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) Ruth Musoke says that the members of the business sector will be rewarded through their umbrella organizations and associations in the business sector.

Ms Ruth Musoke says that PSFU wishes to value and recognize the role of business sector and business associations in Uganda adding that associations in business sector have done a tremendous work in Uganda’s economic growth and development.

PSFU is to reward the business section working in partnership with Bernard Leer Foundation of Netherlands. The categories under which the business sector would be rewarded include the Children Welfare CRS award category and the director Membership Service of PSFU.

The Children Welfare CRS award category is intended to promote and advocate for children welfare programs within the private sector activities in the third east African community economy, Uganda.

The Children Welfare CRS award category will be reward to companies that have been instrumental in championing children’s welfare. The Bernard Leer Foundation has injected 1.5 billion Uganda shillings into the project.
