Singh threatens to quit NRM if Museveni doesn’t save his parliament post

Now embattled Lubanga North MP Singh Katongole has resorted to threats. We have been told that Singh has threatened to quit NRM if president Museveni doesn’t save his parliament post. Singh says that he wants Museveni to use his position to force the court of appeal to progress his petition.

Singh says that he had petitioned President Yoweri Museveni in writing asking him to intervene into his problems. The embattled MP says that Museveni’s intervention is highly needed because it seems the court is blocking his appeal against a ruling that threw him out of parliament last week.

Singh is bitter that the court of appeal has maintained its stand to remove him out of parliament and the same court is also fighting his right of justice, through denying his appeal to the Supreme Court.

MP Singh alleges that the courts in Kampala are against him because he is an Indian and his rival Moses Kasibante is a Muganda/indigenous Ugandan.

He says the main man at the court who is denying him justice is the Court of Appeal registrar and Judiciary spokesperson Elias Kisawuzi. Singh says that Kiwahuzi is using his position to frustrate his efforts to find justice.
