Mulago hospital runs out of water

In other countries like USA, Canada, England, South Africa, Nigeria, Norway, German, China, Austria and France among others the national hospitals there have enough drugs, electricity and water services there are available day and night.

But this is not the case in Uganda, the country phrased as the one ‘gifted by nature’ (it was crafted by president Museveni’s NRM regime) or ‘the pearl of Africa.’ This last phrase the pearl of Africa was got from the former British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill who was the first person in the world to refer to Uganda as the Pearl of Africa during his visit to Uganda and he was very pleased with Uganda’s location in East Africa, good manners of the people of Uganda and the country’s beautiful natural scenery.

WhetherUgandais the pearl ofAfricaor the country gifted by nature is not the very important issue to discuss today. The important issue which every one should get concerned of today is how Mulago hospital can run out of water and electricity. Mulago, theNationalReferralHospitalinUgandahad electricity and water cut off today for failing to pay bills. In the process all operation inMulagoHospitalwere suspended as the theatre was closed down due to lack of electricity and water. More lives of Ugandans were feared to be lost at the expense of water and electricity cut off.
