HIV pupils to study in separate classrooms

 

Children of parents living with HIV/AIDS in Kampalawill be studying in separate classrooms. A group of community volunteers in Kampalaconstructed a three classroom block in Bwaise for pupils whose parents can’t pay school fees plus those living with HIV/AIDS.

The school is managed by Action for Fundamental Change and Development- a non-governmental organisation operating in Kawempe division, Kampala Capital City Authority.

The volunteers from AK FoundationUganda told our snoops that they are happy because they have constructed the school for children whose parents are living with HIV.

The three classroom block cost volunteers 15 million shillings. Some of the volunteers are university students from Canada and Swaziland.
