Addressing journalists at parliament members who include Theodore Ssekikubo, Medard Ssegoona and Patrick Nsanja said that giving support to rebels would be disastrous to the country.

They have urged government to come out with substantive statement to the general public on the allegations, warning that such a conflict could lead to sanctions and indictments.

They say that parliament is not even aware of the Ugandan army’s presence in DR Congo.

UN experts recently released a report on DR Congo accusing both Rwanda and Uganda of backing the M23 rebels who have been fighting the government forces in the Eastern part of the country since April this year.
