UNEB introduces online registration for exams

The Uganda National Examinations Board is set to introduce an online student registration system.

According to the board chairman Fagil Mande online registration will start in 2015 for the primary seven, senior four and six students.

Mande says the move is intended to eliminate the evil practice of head teachers swindling student’s registration fees.

He adds that the board has already carried out research and came up with a mechanism of handling the challenges that will come with the new system of registering online for examinations.
