Ssekikubo ready to hand himself in to police

Lwemiyaga country MP Theodore Ssekikubo has finally broken his silence about police summons.

Ssekikubo says that he is ready to hand himself to the Special Investigation Unit as soon as he gets to town.

Ssekikubo explains that there is no reason for him to hide since he has not committed any crime.

He however says that his concern remains detention beyond the acceptable hours since all courts are still in a recess.

Five members of parliament were summoned by police last week on charges of uttering false statements about the death of former Butalejja Woman MP Cerinah Nebanda

These included Dr.Samuel Lyomoki, Betty Nambooze, Medard Bitekyerezo, Theodore Sekikubo and Emmanuel Dombo
