Mother appeals for help to treat children involved in accident

A 42 year old mother is Speciaza Nambooze is asking for help to treat her children who got injured in an accident along the Mityana-Mubende road on Sunday.

The accident that involved a commuter taxi left atleast 5 people dead, some of them students returning to school.

Namboze too, and her children were heading back to school.

The children include Eunice Nyananziza, and Abel Rugenza both students of Makerere University Business School in 1st and 2nd year respectively.

The others are Wilson Asaba and Garland Mayanja senior three and four students of Uphill College Mbuya.

They all remain in critical condition some with fractured skulls, according to the scan results from Mulago hospital.

She adds that the rescuers took 127 million shillings which was meant for tuition.

She says is the sole bread winner and earns her living through vending local brew.

Her husband Steven Basaija is suffering from Tuberculosis and is chronically ill. She is appealing to the wellwishers to come to her rescue.
