Other benefits of rock salt

 

There are many anti-depressive therapies that use salt in order to preserve the serotonin and melatonin (Neuro transmitters) levels in the brain. The reason rock salt is considered a main anti-stress compound is because it has minerals that help exfoliate dead skin [cells], cleanse skin pores and protect the skin resulting in a healthy and energized skin.

It also helps rejuvenate and strengthen the skin to make it look firm and younger. It also helps get rid of minerals and refined salt deposits by stimulating blood circulation and mineral balance.

Rock salt contains pure minerals eg calcium, potassium, zinc, magnesium and copper. It also acts as an important factor in cancer prevention, as cancer cells can’t live in oxygenated atmosphere. Rock salts aid the movement of blood to keep the body oxygenated.

Scientists say rock salt helps people with diabetes as it regulates blood sugar in the body. The zinc found in rock salt also helps in growth and development of (strong and fertile) sperm cells.

However rock salt may cause goiter if over taken, even hydrocele (empanama) because it brings a lot of water.
