Forum for Democratic Change’s (FDC) president, Maj Gen. Mugisha Muntu has asked the president general of the Democratic Party, Norbert Mao to work and cooperate with FDC if the opposition is to ever capture the political arena from the National Resistance Movement.

Muntu, who today paid a courtesy call to Mao, encouraged him to nurse his spirit of togetherness.

Mao and Muntu in their meeting agreed to work together in the fight against corruption in Uganda. However, some party members have attacked Mao for advocating for joint candidates during national elections.
