Former FDC President Besigye Kizza has today been besieged at his home by police preventing him to move to parliament where he was meant to present views on electoral reforms. He said the acts by police are unlawful.

Speaking to him from his home today, Besigye blames police for being a political actor for the current regime preventing the citizens from attaining full democracy mentioning last week’s prevention to hold a rally at Nsambya where he ended in prison the whole day.
Besigye adds that president Museveni is excessively using his powers to drive the 2016 polls to his side and letting down the nationally desired reforms by police hence creating inequalities in the coming polls. He vowed to continue protesting the leadership of the current regime until complete democracy is attained in Uganda.
Besigye’s home was fully surrounded by police officers and other security officers in casual wear.
