Body of the late Dr.James Mutende at parliament for public viewing

The body of the Minister of state for industry Late Dr.James Mutende was at parliament for public viewing and the body was received by the Speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga. Members of Parliament continued to remember the late as a great person who contributed to getting industries recycling the polythene bags so as they don’t destroy the environment.

The Minister of lands and industry Daudi Migereko said that late Mutende will be remembered for his effort to ensure that there are industrial parks in the country to facilitate investors work. Migereko said that the NRM party will miss Dr. Mutende’s brain in making the party manifesto since he was part of the team which drafted the 2010/11 manifesto which led president Yoweri Museveni to win the presidential elections.

The Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East Ibrahim Semujju Nganda recognized the late as a minister who lived a humble life since he used to drive him self and family unlike other ministers. Vice president Edward Sekandi said that Mutende’s death should give lesson to all people to prepare for death any time when God calls them since he does not follow the alphabetical order.
