Opposition MPs have embarked on a process of recalling Parliament from recess to address what they termed as the misuse of the police act under the clauses of preventive arrest which police has misused to harass FDC former presidential aspirant, Rt Col Kizza Besigye in his home.

Speaking to journalist last week, the Rukungiri municipality MP, Roland Mugume Kaginda, said starting this week, they are collecting signatures of various MPs who are aggrieved with the bad conduct of the Uganda police force.

Kaginda, says so far they have 112 MPs that are willing to append their signatures out of the 3rd required as per the rules of parliament. This means they need approximately 170 out of the 432Mps.
