MP wants Banyoro and Bakiga land wrangles solved for peace to prevail

Bugangaizi East MP in Kakumiro district, Onesmus Twinamasiko, has appealed to indigenous Banyoro and Bakiga commonly called Bafuruki to solve the land problems in the area once and for all.

Twinamasiko says that land wrangles have posed insecurity and he has therefore called on government to work hand in hand with the people before the situation runs out of hand.

Twinamsiko says that the Bakiga and the indigenous Banyoro living in Bugangaizi need to work as a team to settle a common land problem.

A peace of Bunyoro land.

A peace of Bunyoro land.

He says that there is a group of people who are calling themselves the grandchildren of the absentee land lords that are going around the areas threatening to evict the people which he says is illegal.
