Leader of Opposition in Parliament and also Kasese District Woman MP, Winnie Kiiza

The Leader of Opposition, Hon.Winfred Kiiza, has threatened to take legal action against the state minister for lands, Persis Namuganza, over accusations that Kiiza is a land grabber.

Kizza told Parliament that Namuganza in a recently televised statement said that there is a powerful FDC Woman MP from Kasese, who grabbed land from the school, leading to its relocation.

While presenting a personal statement to Parliament that Kiiza says that she wants Namuganza to come out with sufficient evidence to prove the location of the land, name of the school and the period when this happened.

Kiiza says that she has never grabbed land from anybody’s school as alleged by the lands minister.
