Deputy speaker Jacob Oulanya

The deputy speaker of parliament Jacob Oulanyah has urged members of parliament to work together across political parties in order to fulfill the expectations of the people.

In a communication to parliament Oulanyah noted  that as parliamentarians they are supposed to carry out their duties in an understanding, harmony dialogue and engage each other contrary to what happened in 2017.

Oulanyah says that last year was very challenging for parliament and MPs should ensure and do not allow those unbecoming incidents to re-occur.

Oulanyah urged the prime minister, government whip, Leader of opposition and all the political party whips to dialogue as each side needs the other.
