4 critics of president Museveni’s regime burnt to ashes

 

The people of Kihunda zone in Kagango Sub County in Sheema district in western Uganda are still in shock after they woke up on Wednesday and heard the news that a family of four members of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) had been burnt beyond recognition.

The police have identified the deceased as, Jonan Mutungi, 24, John Asasira, Moses Anorin and Margaret Mahuruba, 70.

The family members and neighbours to the deceased told police and journalists that these four opposition supporters were killed and bundled into one room before their house was put on fire.

The a postmortem report carried out by Dr Horace Kizito of Kitagata Hospital also confirmed that they were first murdered before their bodies were set ablaze. The postmortem report indicates that the bodies had deep cuts on the necks, legs and heads.

The police commander of Mid-South Western region Hillary Kulayige confirmed the death of these people.
