A number of local artists have now turned to fighting for a noble cause as a good number of them are into a massive battle against cancer that has now silently claimed many lives in the country than ever before.
Among the artists are, Naira Ali, Gravity Omutuju, Barbi Jay, Sophie Gombya who through their talent have now composed a song that advocates for cancer screening and treatment that will soon be launched this Friday in Kampala and through this, they are calling fellow artists to join them in the fight to save the nation.
However, the chairperson, Uganda Women’s Cancer Support Organization (UWOCASO) Rebecca Mayengo is adding her voice to that of the artists to rally the nation towards early screening and treatment noting that breast cancer has turned to be a great challenge to Ugandan women
