The Executive Director on presidential initiative on Banana project Rev. Florence Murangwa has refused to take Oath before the public Accounts committee after messing up the project and detained by police.
Rev. Murangwa refused the oath after mps on the committee chaired by Kasiono Wadri discovering that she was dodging to respond to their queries and when told to take oath she said that she rather lose her jobs than taking the oath .

The chairperson kasiano Wadri order police CID attached to the committee to detain her and interrogate her to get the vital information about the mismanagement of presidential initiative on Banana project worth 136 million shillings.
He that it was criminal for a witness to undermine the committee by refusing the oath.

MPS noted that the project was given money to acquire land but the land was purchased without land title and the project was redesigned before getting land.
MPS also observed that they paid for irrigation water for the project yet it’s was not their mandate.
