PhD Studentship Positions Available KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Kilifi.
Applications are invited from the East African region (EAC plus Ethiopia and Sudan) for PhD studentship positions from candidates who have completed at least a Bachelors degree and achieved an upper second or first class in one of the following subjects:
- Maths,
- Statistics,
- Social studies,
- Anthropology,
- Economics,
- Health sciences (e.g. medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and public health),
- Biological sciences.
One PhD studentship is available in each of the following Research areas;
- Health Economics
- Modelling malaria epidemiology
- Social Science and Ethics
A Masters degree is not a requirement for successful application.
These studentships will provide an opportunity for East Africans to carry out their PhD studies within a high quality research environment under the supervision of internationally renowned researchers.
