The Doctorate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (DocMASE) delivers 6 to 10 Erasmus Mundus scholarships for the best applicants of EU and non-EU countries every year.

Fellowships cover a fixed amount of travel costs (7500€) for third country students and a fixed monthly allowance for an employment contract for both, EU and third country students.

Apply for Scholarships: General Admission Criteria

  • Master of Science or an Engineering degree in the area of MSE, Chemistry or Physics with a background in materials or related engineering disciplines.

Students can still apply if they won’t have finished their master or engineering studies before application deadline.

In this case, a professor’s note has to be attached to your application attesting that you will have finished your studies by the application deadline of August.

  • Very good English language knowledge demonstrated with correspondent language certificates. Knowledge of other relevant languages like German, French, Spanish and Swedish are favorable.
