Addressing his supporters in Butaleja district, Eastern Uganda today, Col. Besigye challenged President Museveni Kaguta of the Republic of Uganda that if he is serious about fighting corruption in Uganda as he (the president) recently said then he should be standing on the roadside with Bishop Zac Niringiye and distribute fliers for the anti-corruption crusade.

The retired col. says that he was shocked the good Bishop was on Monday last week arrested by police for doing exactly what president Museveni vowed to do, to fight against corruption!!!

Bishop Zac Niringiye was arrested with his eight cohorts at Makerere University for distributing anti corruption fliers to university students. He was interrogated for over nine hours at Wandegeya police station before he was released on police bond.
