Billions misused in fake government scholarships scheme

The current poor economic situation in President Museveni’s Uganda government has failed many Ugandans to take back their school going students/pupils back to school. It now seems the people in leadership of Uganda government are in a different world from that most Ugandans live in.

For example the fees structure of St. AugustineUniversity in Bunga, a Kampala suburb where the recent the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA) elections were held
Bachelor of Medicine is $ 6,000 (15,000,000 million Uganda shillings) per year. Bachelor of Dental Surgery is at $ 5,000 (12, 500000 million shillings) and Bachelor of Science in Oil and Gas is at US $ 5,000.

The money students who study at St. Augustine University pay can cater for fees of about 15 students in Makerere University and Kyambogo University. But the students of St. Augustine University told us that it’s the government of Uganda which pays! So in every student the government sponsors at St. Augustine University, it can be spent to educate 15 doctors at Makerere University.

We are told that the rich Uganda government officials who take their children to Japan to study Engineering parts 45,000,000 Million Uganda shillings as university tuition for each of the students per year.

There are about Seven Ugandan students studying engineering at Japan University this year, of them 6 are sponsored by the Uganda State and of the 6, two students are sons of Ministers Amelia Kyambadde (Trade) and Health Minister Ruhakana Rugunda.

However the 45,000,000 each of the engineering students pays at JapanUniversity can sponsor 45 engineers in Uganda at MakerereUniversity. Since the government of Uganda reportedly sponsors 6 students, Uganda would have 6 students multiplied by 45 students making the number of engineering students 270, meaning that if that money was spent in Uganda, our country would have produced more engineering for Uganda. This reminds me what Late world musician Michael Jackson sang, “they dont care about us.” Oh GOD kindly save Uganda!
