Bishop attributes High HIV/AIDS prevalence to adultery

The bishop of the Rwenzori diocese Rt Rev Bishop Reuben Kisembo has attributed the high rate of HIV/AIDS prevalence among married couples who do not stick to their vows.

Uganda has been struggling to reduce the HIV/AIDS prevalence rate from 6.7-7% where it has stagnated over the six years.

Bishop Reuben Kisembo says that that most married couples have resorted to practicing sex outside married which he says is contrary to the holly Bible.

The bishop warns married couple against committing adultery saying unfaithfulness is the leading driver of HIV infection among married people.

He urges all married couples to love, trust and show respect to one another if the world is to have an AIDS free generation.
