Bishop Zac Niringiye joins NRM fold

Politics is really a dirty game. Bishop Zac Niringiye a couple of years back was against president Museveni’s regime, describing it as corrupt, despotic and called for its change.

Bishop Zac launched the Black Monday Movement- a civil society anti-corruption initiative. As a result, the police intercepted the group members, jailed and persecuted hundreds of others.

It should be remembered that the police arrested the Black Monday Movement members at the Ministry of Finance headquarters. The police arrested the group members  who carried painted stones on wheel barrows to the ministry to demonstrate the weight of the burden corruption is bearing on Ugandans.

Sometime back the same police arrested Bishop Niringiye and detained him at Wandegeya Police Station. But the news in town now is Zac’s acceptance to work with president Museveni.
