Born Again churches in Uganda have decided to end Night prayers at midnight as one of the security measures following bomb blasts in Uganda.

The Chairman of Ugandan Born Again Churches Association, Pastor David Kiganda said the resolution was reached after a meeting with Kampala mayor, Nassar Ssebagala.

Kiganda says the born again churches in Uganda have agreed that their night prayers which normally go on throughout the night end at mid-night and that the churches coordinate more with police to ensure security of their flock.

He appealed to church members to accept to be checked and not to be surprised to find police at entrances to churches as security at places where people congregate is a matter of national importance.

On his part, Kampala Mayor Ssebagala assured night prayer goers in Kampala that the measure is a temporally one which will be lifted after the security situation in Uganda normalizes.
