China to Construct Coronavirus Hospital for 1,000 Patients in Six Days

China is working tooth and nail to control the spread of a deadly virus which  was confirmed in Wuhan city china on 7 January2020.

According to the virus is called “Coronavirus”, the virus is very deadly virus that kills a person within  7 days.

The government has  quickly responded to the out break  by Constructing a hospital to curb the virus. the hospital will accommodate 1,300 people.

The hospital will be completed by 3 February.

The new center located at Wuhan will be made out of prefabricated buildings and its medical supplies and equipment will be brought in from neighboring hospitals.

International Engineers have been hired across the country  to complete the construction in time.

The hospital will have an X-ray room, CT room, intensive-care unit, laboratory and each ward equipped with its own bathrooms.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Symptoms Include;

  • runny nose
  • headache
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • fever
  • a general feeling of being unwell

Safety measures to follow

  • WHO recommends basic hand hygiene such as washing hands with soap and water, and making sure to cover your mouth with your elbow when sneezing or coughing.
  • Avoid unnecessary, unprotected contact with animals and be sure to thoroughly wash hands after contact.
  • Ensure meat consumed is cooked thoroughly.
