Church of Uganda to fight domestic violence

The Church of Uganda has vowed to fight domestic violence now on increase in Uganda.

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Henry Luke Orombi says the church will curb the vice by preaching to people to be tolerant.

He says domestic violence is on increase because some people are intolerant. Research indicates that 66% of Ugandans especially women have experienced domestic violence at least once in their life time.

The man of God says when domestic violence shatters a family, it affects the church and the country and large.
