It seems Makerere University Councilor to Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Bernard Luyiga has officially crossed to NRM fold. This was evidenced when he wrote on his facebook account that, “as a youth, the 28 years of the National Resistance Movement and President Museveni in particular has greatly helped in raising the unemployment rate at 83%.”

Councilor Luyiga, who reportedly received 40 million shillings and another 25 million shillings to moblise KCCA councilors to impeach Lord Mayor Lukwago, says that Ugandans have something to celebrate about on the liberation day of NRM.

Luyiga, a former member of the Democratic Party wishes NRM long live and President Museveni life presidency. Recently the former president of FDC Col. Kizza Besigye told members of opposition to shun councilor Luyiga, describing him as an NRM mole.
