David Cameron of the Conservative Party is the new Prime Minister of Britain.

Cameron’s new leadership has ended the 13 years in power by the Labour Party.

The Conservatives and Liberal Democrats agreed to form a coalition government following the resignation of British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

This follows hung parliamentary elections in Britain which left no party with a clear majority to form a government.

Cameron formed the first Britain’s coalition government in 70 years on Tuesday after Queen Elizabeth II invited him to form a new government.
