Deficiency symptoms of vitamin B1

 

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is so important in our bodies. Its functions are to enhance circulation, carbohydrate metabolism and production of hydrochloric acid which is important for digestion.

Vitamin B1 also assists in blood formation and optimises brain function. It further retains the effects of aging and alcohol consumption.

Its deficiency symptoms are constipation, irritability, loss of appetite, fatigue, and weight loss among others.
