The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) leadership met on Tuesday in Kampala to constitute a new shadow cabinet in Parliament on Wednesday. FDC is the leading opposition party in Uganda because it has more members of opposition in parliament.
But some members of Parliament from other opposition parties like DP, UPC, JEEMA, and Conservative Party (CP) want all political parties represented on the Shadow Cabinet. The Leader of Opposition in Parliament is Wafula Oguttu. Oguttu has a big task of uniting members of the opposition in Parliament.
The Democratic Party Secretary General, Mathias Nsubuga has also revealed that his party was in discussions with FDC on the constitution of the shadow cabinet.
